At Machead ("we," "us"), your privacy matters. This policy explains what we collect and why—separately for our website and our apps.
Our scoring apps are designed to work on your device and do not send personal data to our servers.
Names and scores you enter are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or access them.
Our apps do not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
On our website, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) (implemented via Google Tag Manager) to understand aggregate usage and improve content.
GA4 does not log or store IP addresses in reporting. We use consent controls so that non-essential cookies only run where consent is required and given.
We use cookies on the website for analytics only. Examples include _ga
and _ga_*
(Google Analytics). You can change your preferences at any time:
If you prefer, you can also use Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Where required (e.g., EEA/UK/CH), we rely on your consent for non-essential cookies/analytics. In other regions, we rely on legitimate interests to improve our site, while providing easy opt-out controls.
Website analytics event data is retained in GA4 for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically. We do not maintain separate copies.
We use TLS/HTTPS to protect data in transit and implement standard technical measures to secure our services.
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted at machead.com/about/privacy with the effective date.
